Iraqi warplanes destroy ISIS radio station in Mosul

The Iraqi war jets bombarded on Monday ISIS radio station in central Mosul, said a local source.

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The Iraqi war jets bombarded on Monday ISIS radio station in central Mosul, said a local source.

The source told Sumaria News on Monday that the Iraqi aircraft managed to target the IS group's radio station called "al-Bayan" which resulted in its complete destruction and the killing of the entire staff.

The extremist organization has lost the most significant media outlet through which it has been spreading fear among the people across Nineveh province, he said.

"The group has also been using this medium to broadcast instructions and guidance for its members," he said.

The source added that the director of the station named Abu Iman had already fled the city on September 19th, with his family to an unknown destination, and the group hung his picture on the walls in the city, asking people to report about his whereabouts.
